In June a £1 billion fun for education was announced by the government. The government Covid-19 catch up Premium has been given to schools to mitigae the effects of the unique disruption caused by Covid-19. The grant is only available for the academic year 2020-2021.
The catch-up premium is funded on a per pupil basis at £80 per pupil. This was based on the previous year’s census and will does not include Nursery children. This means at Oxford Gardens, we have received £22,960. The spending of this money is down to schools to allocate as they see best.
